  • What To Expect On Sunday

We are a new church, so we don't own our own building.  We meet at Smithfield Elementary School in south Charlotte.  So if you come a little early you will find us finishing set up, tweaking the sound system, checking kids into the nursery and getting everything ready for a worship service.  At Cross Park Church we really do want new people to feel welcome, because at this point we are all new here. If you come at 10am (before the 10:30 start of service) you can grab some coffee and bagels and get to know a few folks.

The service consists of singing together, prayer, giving, engaging one another and preaching in ways that are meant to help us encounter God and connect with what he has to teach us.  We will usually finish by noon.  You can come in whatever clothing you are comfortable in, though most people will be wearing something like "business casual" attire.

If you have children you will be in good company. We do have classes for kids 3 and a half and younger for the duration of the service, though you can bring your young children into the service if you like.  All kids 1st grade or younger are dismissed for Children's Worship before the sermon, while the older ones will have age-appropriate bulletins to help them engage the sermon.

    Finding Us

We are pretty easy to find, meeting at Smithfield Elementary. Click here for a map, and then come see us on Sunday morning.

    Learning More

If you want to find out more about who we are look around this website. You will find that it is pretty simple to navigate.  Checking out the About Us pages will probably give you some feel for who we are.  The Get Connected page also will give you more info on ways you can get involved at Cross Park Church.  And you can always contact the staff directly or drop a general email to CrossParkChurch@CrossParkChurch.org.
