SUMMARY:Women's Summer Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Book Club BONUS ROUND! We enjoyed our time together this summer so much that we are going to extend our season by adding a short book for August\, George MacDonald’s The Princess and the Goblin.  This is an early classic of Christian fantasy literature\, and though it was written for young people\, the story is rich and deep enough to satisfy all readers young and old. The discussion will be held at the Shanks’ house on Thursday\, August 14\, at 7PM. The book club would like to specially invite all the young ladies of our youth group to join us in reading and discussing this one\, if they would like! Any copy of the book can work for our discussion\, and you can even listen to it online on Spotify\, or download a free PDF here. If you are interested in joining in\, please let Wendy know by emailing wkshank62@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:Women's Ministry Wreath Making Event
DESCRIPTION:Our Wreath Making Shindig is Saturday\, Nov 22 from 6-8pm at the Hemby YMCA Magnolia room. (For our newcomers\, the Magnolia room is directly behind the pavilion where we worship.) Registration will close on Wednesday\, Nov 19 so that we have time to pick up all the wreaths and forms. \nREGISTER HERE! \n-For the wreath making portion\, you will receive a premade fresh wreath that you can decorate with ribbons and baubles. We will provide the wreaths\, wire and some greenery. The cost is $20. Scholarships are available. \nIf you are able\, please sign up to bring:\n-Small\, handheld snippers (the kind used to cut very small branches)\n-Wire snippers (to cut floral wire)\n-Ribbon cutting scissors\n-Greenery (if you have any in your yard that you’d like to donate. We will be providing some\, but the more the merrier.)\n-Feel free to bring your own ribbon (or ribbon to share!) and any baubles that you want on your wreath. We will providing some ribbon as well. \nSign up for Food and Setup\n-Please sign up for one dish to share (Salad\, Soup\, Bread/Crackers or Dessert).\n-If anyone is willing to come at 4:30 to help set up tables\, that would be very appreciated. \nQuestions?
