DESCRIPTION:Our bi-weekly youth group will meet this Wednesday (11/3) from 6:30-8:30pm at RTS (2101 Carmel Rd). Games will be outside and the lesson and prayer will be inside\, so dress appropriately. Bring your Bible\, mask\, and water bottle. \nSpencer is going to be teaching on what the Bible has to say about homosexuality and how we\, as the church\, should be thinking about and engaging with this issue that is so prevalent in our culture. \nWARNING! – If you have not had any conversations about this topic with your children\, I would strongly encourage you to do so before youth group on Wednesday night. The reality is that this topic is far too big to answer every question that your students will naturally have during the lesson. If you think that your student is not ready to engage in these conversations\, it may be wise to skip this youth group and rejoin us next time. If they do attend\, they will naturally have many questions for you as they return home\, and Spencer would love to help you answer them. DESCRIPTION:Join us for lunch after church this Sunday\, 10/24 (weather-permitting). This is a great chance to catch up with your Cross Park family or get to know new folks. Cross Park is providing the drinks and dessert; the food truck lunch options are self-pay. \nWe are in need of a few volunteers to help clean up after lunch on Sunday!! Please email erin@crossparkchurch.org to help out. \nLunch\nAfter the 10:30AM service\, we will have lunch together! We encourage you to use your chairs\, bring a picnic blanket\, and set up in a good spot for lunch after the service in the corner lawn on Sharon/Carmel Rd. We will provide drinks and dessert for everyone; novelty ice cream options will be available from The Social Cow cart. We will also have two food trucks in the front parking lot if you want to buy lunch from them. There will be a gourmet burgers & fries option (Assorted Burgers\, Fries\, Wings\, Po Boys\, Dogs\, Etc.) and classic American seafood (Fried Shrimp\, Fried Fish\, Chicken Tenders\, Etc.) Also\, feel free to pack your own picnic lunch if that is a better option for your family. \nVolunteers\nIf you can volunteer to tear down on Sunday\, we would be so grateful! Sign up here. Our weekly services are made possible by YOU and this week’s special lunch is no different. Meet on the football field behind the playgrounds.\nWednesday – Swimming/cliff jumping at “The Quarry” (1213 Oakridge Farm Hwy\, Mooresville\, NC 28115) 9am – 3pm. $20 per person for admission. SUMMARY:10th Anniversary Gathering
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday we will celebrate our 10-year anniversary\, weather permitting\, and invite you all to join us at 11AM in the parking lot at RTS. Our service is going to be a bit different\, as we will have several people sharing how God has worked in and through them in various ways at Cross Park as we reflect on God’s kindness and goodness to us for this past decade. After the service\, we will have lunch together! We encourage you to use your chairs or bring a picnic blanket and set up in a good spot for lunch after the service in the corner lawn on Sharon/Carmel Rd. We will have drinks and dessert available to you\, and we will also have two food trucks in the front parking lot if you want to buy lunch from them. There will be a pizza truck and an American food truck (burgers\, chicken fingers\, etc). Also\, feel free to pack your own picnic lunch if that is a better option for your family. We hope all of you will come ready to praise and thank God for his faithfulness to us in the first decade of Cross Park Church!
