Lewis’ satirical masterpiece\, “The Screwtape Letters.” Join us for two sessions (or one–whatever you can make) of reflection and discussion on this thought-provoking book:\n• SESSION 1: Tuesday\, July 16\, 7-8:30 pm\, chapters 1-17\n• SESSION 2: Tuesday\, August 6\, 7-9 pm\, chapters 18-31\nBoth sessions will be at the Thatches. Email Polly to let her know you’ll be there\, and to receive the discussion questions in advance. A bit about the book: “The Screwtape Letters” is a collection of letters from a senior demon\, Screwtape\, to his nephew and protégé\, Wormwood. Through Screwtape’s cunning advice on leading a human ‘patient’ astray\, Lewis explores profound questions of good and evil\, temptation\, and redemption.

SUMMARY:Youth Group - Charlotte Knights Baseball
DESCRIPTION:Though we are in the midst of some transition in the Youth Group\, we are planning to have a great summer! We’ve already enjoyed a great ice cream social at the Newcott’s and much more is in store. To keep things as simple as possible\, we are planning to have a youth event every Wednesday at Hemby\, from 7-8:30 from June 19 to August 14 (minus July 3). We will alternate weeks between a normal ‘Youth Group’ night and a hang-out / fun event night. But know that every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30\, you can gather with other Cross Park youth at Hemby\, starting June 19! We look forward to seeing you!
