SUMMARY:Men's Spring Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Beginning with dinner on Friday evening\, we will spend our retreat together in worship\, teaching\, prayer\, and rest. Rev. John Sittema will be our speaker\, leading us through a couple of sessions on the topic of faith and work. We’ll also hear testimonies from fellow Cross Parkers on how they have experienced the challenges and opportunities of being a Christian in a secular workplace. \nThere will be several hours of free time Saturday afternoon for you to explore or nap or hang out with buddies. We’ll then finish up with dinner together on the way home Saturday evening. Then able to worship with the broader church family on Sunday morning. \nThere is an optional add-on day Thursday night (March 21). We have secured 25 beds for Thursday night\, so if you are able to get off work Friday\, come on up Thursday and spend some personal time away. There won’t be any meals or programming until Friday evening\, but this add-on day could be a great opportunity to increase the impact of this retreat for you personally. \nCOST\n-ONE NIGHT: The cost is $110 (a bed with linens & 3 meals).\n-TWO NIGHTS: Thursday add-on is an additional $50 ($160 total if you do both nights).\n-Additional costs: pay for your own dinner Saturday night on the way home and\, if you come Thursday\, provide your own food until dinner Friday. \nSpace is limited. Register by Sunday\, March 17.
