See Jesus – A Reading Plan for Easter

For two weeks – beginning March 22 and finishing April 5 – see for yourself who Jesus is through Scripture as we prepare for Easter. No background knowledge is needed – just a willingness to take the readings slowly and notice what stands out. You’re also invited for Easter on April 5th – brunch at 9:30, worship at 10:30, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for kids.

Each day of the plan includes:

  • A brief verse from Psalm 119 – a long poem about God’s Word – that stays the same throughout the week and helps set the overall tone.
  • A second verse from Psalm 119 that reflects the mood of that day’s reading.
  • A comment to help prepare you for the main reading.
  • The main reading

Along the way, if you come across unfamiliar words or phrases, don’t worry about getting everything right. Let the story speak. Notice what Jesus says and does. And if you’re moved to do so, talk with God about what you’re reading – whether or not you’re sure what you believe.

Thank you for taking this journey. May God bless the reading of his word.
